Millsap and Hayward are the heroes of this game.
Fortunately Mo made a lucky final shot after missing his prior three 3 point attempts. Why is it lucky? Tell me the last time we ran a play to get him that shot. Tell me the last time he made a shot that deep. 6.9 seconds left and you don't even try to drive the basket or run a play? The best shot you can get is a well-contested 26 foot three point attempt?
Its a good thing that shot went in because otherwise the criticism would be raining down on Corbin for such a lousy play call and on Mo for taking such a low percentage shot.
Great win against a great team nonetheless. Team seems to be making progress now that Millsap and Hayward are playing better.
Big Al? 4 rebounds? He gets owned by Duncan every time they play. He at least shot it a little better this time.
