Much of "third world" problems is not that their countries and continents lack vast valuable resources but that the people don't realize any gain from those resources and most of the their lives are actually degraded further than just not receiving anything from those resources. The curse of resources is a well know phenomenon everyone should look up.
The real problem is selfishness and "legal" stealing of resources.
For those that are religious you should realize that the Earth was prepared for ALL GOD's children and therefore everyone born DOES in FACT have a birthright. If it's been stolen, it's been stolen. Don't defend YOUR version of a free market that steals birthrights from people.
