Van Noy is a stud, even I can recognize and acknowledge that.

Too bad his special talents were wasted on an otherwise sunday school boy filled unathletic team.

Not to mention the innept offense.

Good luck in the NFL kid. I don't blame you for leaving the train wreck of a program early.

Always enjoy the ignoranance of Chris B. Check the facts Chrissy, the BYU D is ranked 3rd in the nation. Hardly Sunday School filled and unathletic. If you're speaking of the offense, well then I might agree with the exception of Cody Hoffman.

Nice try, Chris B,

but

for a real train wreck of a program, see the hill.

7-5 + bowl > 5-7 - bowl

BYU / Utah "inept" offenses
47th / 99th passing
55th / 80th rushing
42nd / 74th scoring

Jealous Utah fans living in crimson-colored glass houses should avoid throwing stones.

Star is thrilled to be escaping a train wreck that has been in steady decline since peaking in 2008.

Yet no mention on DesNews site that Star earned 1st team? Nice one.

That's great that a couple of your Cougars made All America. You should wear your BYU jersey to celebrate. Nicely done!

Congrats to Stephenson, Van Noy and Lotulelei who all made the team. Not sure why the article didn't mention Star? I'm sure it was just an over sight.

Congrats to all three of these guys (Star has his own article) Chris, do you ever tire of putting your keyboard in your mouth? Is there room with your foot being there already?

Glad for Star and the studs Van Noy/Stephenson. Star was good, no question about it, but the defensive team he played for was barely capable, whereas BYU's defense ranked in Top 10 in the Country for all but one week. Van Noy was a Star and played on a stellar defense.

I was amazed/shocked/angered by the comments of Doman regarding the QB roulette wheel; "We will play the QB who will do the best for the team". Really?? Like, since when? Not at Utah. Not at Boise State. Not at Notre Dame. Not against Oregon State. So what is different about SDSU? Nelson said, "If the game was today, I could play". But, he is not cleared medically? What am I missing in this insanity? Time to sell the Bowl tickets.

Unfortunate that B.Y.U.'s defense and its players were somewhat overlooked because of the few close, tough loses and offensive struggles that hurt their season overall.
