A lot of this stuff was coincedental, that he was able to steal the horses, and fight the German. I wonder if his ancestors in the other world were watching, "pulling strings" somehow and cheering him?
There is a story about a Maori battalion in World War II who fought in Cyprus. At one point they ran out of ammo and they did a "haka" war dance to the Germans and it scared the Germans so bad that they ran away.
There was another Crow chief named Plenty Coups who said, "Learn as much about the white man as possible. With an education you are his equal, without it you are his victim."
