Meh. For some, Facebook becomes a way to relive regret, relive popularity, regain friends, or regain stalkers.

Unfortunately, I believe that unless you've kept up the friendship and enjoy contact with that person now, choose to live in the world you inhabit each day. We each have a limited ability to productively connect with friends and family, and when that sphere of focus becomes too great or includes too many, you'll lose touch with the empathy you enjoy within your closest circle.

Don't settle for arm's length interaction, unless it is truly secondary to regular conversation.
