Carrol is actually 6'8" in shoes, and Durant is somewhere between 6'10" and 6'11" in shoes, not to mention one of the top players in the game today. Carrol et al have their work cut out for them. It would have been nice to have Marvin tonight.
Great article Jazzy Jody, Due to my work I cannot see every game now but will be on it tonight. I am glad the kid is getting his chance. Carroll to me has been one of the positive players we have had this season. He is always ready and gives a great effort. He has much better offensive schools, than many of us laughed at when he was signed last season. This game will tell me how far the Jazz have come in the last week. A win here would be critical. It would prove we can win more consistently on the road. Beating NO And Denver was nice but not earth shattering. Tonights win against a team in form would be huge.
Marvin Williams is the top candidate for disappoint of the year, he doesn't score, doesn't rebound...I'm not sure what he does. Send him to the D League until he learns how to play.
Speedy recovery wishes to Marvin. That was a dreadful crash. It probably felt like his eyeballs were going to pop out. Mine nearly did. DCarroll will, if nothing else, disturb KDurrant by getting in his space like a mosquito. At least, that is what I hope he will do. I LOVE watching him play!
Go Jazzboys tonight!!!! I LOVE the Jazz!
