I remember a long, long time ago when the Jazz were actually a viable contender every year in the NBA. They had two legitimate superstars, a great coach, and great ownership, and it seemed every year they at least had a chance to win a bunch of games in the playoffs.
Now? Well we have no stars on the team, our best offensive player flat out refuses to play defense. Our ownership is seriously lacking integrity and makes no real effort to improve the quality of the team. An ownership in fact who ran the best coach the Jazz have ever or will ever have, out of town because he expected them to back him up.
Now we have a coach who, while a very nice fellow, has no real idea how to get his team to play hard and is afraid to discipline the players for fear of his job.
Someone wake me up when things change, there's nothing worse than knowing the team you've supported for 30 years is no longer viable.
