Gosh, I feel so much safer now.......
tosmartforyou; I'm glad you feel safer now, you should.
Just remember toosmrtforu you are safer here in the USA because we have the world's largest army. We have 135,000,000 gun carriers. Not even China has that size army.
We have by far more guns per capita than any other nation. Twice as many as the runner up. Whatever you imagine that was supposed to solve should already be under control if it were going to do any good.
But feel free to spend all your money on guns as long as they are made in the USA by well compensated americans. Boo.
Ever notice how a scared lady might buy one gun and never mention it but a scared nelly man will buy 20 and never stop talking about them?
I put one in the 'comment denied' column here. My point was this...guns or lottery tickets. Where is government actively prohibiting your choice?
People went ape after Obama won his first term, snapping up firearms and ammunition over neurotic fears that he would implement harsh gun control legislation. Never happened, did it? And what did these people accomplish? They drove up the price and drove down the availability of ammunition. Shot themselves in the foot, figuratively speaking.
CougarBlue,
Your comment doesn't make sense at all. The UK has very tight gun control laws and their murder rate is a fraction of the United States'. In fact, most Western First World nations have a murder rate much lower than ours. It even looks like China (who doesn't have an "army" as big as ours, according to you) has a lower homicide rate than the US.
I'm certain this has nothing at all to do with the re-election of a 2nd amendment hating socialist to the presidency.
With all these guns and ammo, Utah's violent crime rate is among the nation's lowest. Could the two be related?
Paranoid Patriots. Gotta love 'em.
I would buy some but Obamas economy leaves me with no cash. Thank you Barrack.
Obama is the best thing that could have happened to the gun industry. The NRA's fear mongering has driven sales through the roof.
Re:JohnH
Utah's relatively low gun crime rate has nothing to do with the volume of guns in the state, and everything to do with the high percentage of Mormons. The country as a whole has far more gun-related crime than the more civilized countries in the world that limit access to guns.
Stupid is as stupid does. Never owned a gun, never will. Jesus will watch over me.
A Flame Thrower would complement any home collection.
Next in line, for the discerning NRA member, is the RPG Launcher as well as a nice cache of RPG's.
Happiness is a warm gun...or Flame Thrower...or Launcher... as the case may be.
