I was surprised we didn't here more about Manti Te'o this year locally. he was on the national radar early on. Maybe it was just to hard to cover, BYU missing out on Te'o.

Wow if the QB gets it as a true freshman that would be incredible. He seems like the type that will stay in school a while. How many times could he win it?

I'm pulling for Manti. ND won ugly this year and he had a lot to do with that tough defense who stopped many on their way to a potential winning drive.

Some voters refuse to vote for a freshman, but I sure hope he gets it over Te'o.

I just hope the voters vote for whom they feel is the best football player. Not the best offensive skill position player. To many times defenders and lineman alike are over looked simply because of their position. It's time the Heisman is awarded to the best not the best running back or quarterback.

The day Te'o wins the Heisman is the day I eat a football.
