You have to approach education and career with balance. Doing what you like is
often a bad idea that will stick you with poverty and frustration the rest of
your life. For example I like backpacking, but would never consider it for a
paying career. You have to do something you love that NEEDS DOING.
The world will pay for something that needs doing, but it won't always pay
you to do what you love -- balance the two, and you'll be happy.
You know what I like more than my job? My family, and providing for them.
Sometimes career fulfillment preachers do nothing more than make people unhappy
with their situations, when many who work long hours, double shifts, and provide
for their families deserve a double-dose of kudos.
