Nice work Aggies. Best team in the state this year ---- by far.

Stadium comments:
I was pretty upset it was not a sellout... but at least it was a good crowd considering most students were gone for Thanksgiving break.
Something to consider for you haters:
Cache county population is just over 100,000 and stadium is 25,000
Salt Lake County population is well over 1,000,000 and stadium is 45,000
Utah County population is almost 600,000 and stadium is 65,000
We are not pretending to sell out the "Big House" here, but come on guys percentage wise we hold our own (don't get me wrong, our stadium should be packed for every game)

Bowl comments:
The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is the closest bowl we could get and that was part of the decision to accept it.
As far as bowl payouts go... please watch/listen to the podcast "Real Sports with Bryant Gumble" number 147. It sheds a bit of light on the REAL bowl stories.

Great job Aggies! Close doesn't count, but it sure feels a lot better than being blown out. It also stokes the fires for next year, to replace the "what coulda been" with something better. Excellent season, proud of my Aggies.

Some of us are glad Utah State showed some loyalty to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl even though the proximity was probably the deciding factor.
