Big win national champs. Big game coming up against the cape wielding Matadors of CS Northridge!!!

Make sure you let Jabari know that when he chooses Provo he will be able to play at the 1600 seat Matadome in Northridge if a home and home occurs with the school down south...

Got punched out twice is NYC big good teams and are now home to get tuned up for WCC play...

This is like reading "Cougars cruse to an 81-62 win over the East Mill Creek 2nd Ward.
Man up and get a schedule BYU.

The team is about where I thought they'd be with the exception of Carlino. I really thought the glimpses of brilliance he showed last year would happen even more frequently this year. But he is really struggling. Cusick and Calvert are playing much better at the PG than Carlino. And it's more than just his poor shooting, it's everything he's doing on the offensive end.

If Ambrosino can add 10 - 15 minutes of strong play, that will be a bonus. He could turn into our 6th or 7th man spark.

Biggest disappointment is Carlino. Biggest pleasant surprise is Haws. Davies is solid. If two or three other guys can step up, BYU will be a really good team and make it to the Big Dance once again.

BYU men's basketball: Cougars cruise to an 81-62 win over UTSA

Texas San Antonio is ranked #232 in RealTime RPI

Meanwhile, up on the hill: Utah 57 Idaho St 46

"It’s a good thing Dallin Bachynski decided to show up for Utah’s basketball game Wednesday night against Idaho State.

Because the rest of the team didn’t, and without Bachynski, the Utes would most likely have suffered their second straight home defeat to a so-so Big Sky Conference team."

"so-so" is being EXTREMELY generous - Idaho State is ranked #341 out of 346 in RealTime RPI.

Save the basketball smack, crimson-glasses wearers; you're just embarrassing yourselves.

Utah plays Cal State Northridge in December at the Huntsman Center--probably in front of 1600 fans. So, just for the sake of discussion, how would those "runnin' utes" do against Notre Dame and Florida State? How do you think they'll do against the Cougars on December 8? How would they do aginst Gonzaga, St. Mary's or almost anybody else in the WCC? The Utes couldn't even beat Sacramento State. As for Jabari Parker, he may not choose BYU, but if he does, I'm sure that playing eight games in any of the WCC arenas will be okay, especially since all of those games will be on national television. If he goes to Duke, as he probably will, his home games will be played in an arena about the size of most WCC arenas. But, good try, Red. Good Luck with the big game against that powerhouse, College of Idaho.
