It seems wasteful for any more government added costs be added to an already struggling economy and government that has a short fall of $16 million dollars to think about and in the cost overrun government Caroon has been operation with for the last 10+ years.
People have and do adjust to conditions without government forcing more taxes on the citizens to support an unsustainable private industry recreational way of life. If the industry feels they need to run a shuttle service for their patrons and customers it is not the county's or state or citizens reprehensibility to provide it or pay for it.
Carroon and this study is out of line and out of his jurisdiction in forcing the tax payers to fund private industry wishes. UTA is also out of line to use public funding for private industry transportation service the ski resorts should be paying for and providing for themselves. UTA won't provide services for citizens use so they have no right or entitlement to defraud the taxpayers to serve non citizen needs. Recreation is not a need so that eliminates UTA involvement entirely.
