Lots of wisdom here.
As a former elementary teacher, I can attest to the fact that even the best and most intelligent of kids usually lack the maturity for good judgement in every situation. We can teach and teach and teach, but when they leave adult supervision, immaturity becomes a driving force in their decision making.
For that matter, do adults really do much better sometimes?
