Call me a miser but why are high school students taking trips like these? It's irresponsible of the school to allow it, for parents to condone and support it, and for the students to solicit donations for it. How many kids could benefit from music programs in Vernal from $63,200? Our society has some seriously skewed senses of what is right and valuable.
@ Johnny Triumph: you really see no value in going to Pearl Harbor, learning about it, and being a small part if its history?
