"Mendenhall mentioned he feels at peace with how the situation was handled." He's at "peace"? That's the way to end this article? How about saying he feels comfortable with how the situation was handled? I applaud Coach Bronco for this swift action. The video is very disturbing, especially the hit that a female receives. Ridiculous. But, Coach. It's OK to view the video-- really. The video doesn't lie and likely corroborates what he had been told. Choice and accountability for these players.

BYU definitely showed vulnerability against the only other good passing team on their schedule--Oregon State. If BYU faces another QB in SJSU with that kind of accuracy, we're in trouble, especially since we have no depth now in the defensive backfield. I think if Bronco puts a lot of pressure on the QB with his LB's we'll win this game. If he opts to drop back 8 or 9 players consistently, we could easily lose this game.

So. Cal Reader,

Don't worry about it. Be at peace.

Bronco:"....I’m not interested in watching it.”

So you have passed judgment and kicked these guys off the team and you haven't even viewed the video? Really?

Have the police published a report yet?
I must admit the video looks pretty bad and it looks like Stout threw the first punch.

With all the publicity that Sampson and Stout are receiving, I want to know who the bonehead is that punched / decked the girl. This guy should get the worst punishment. Please broadcast his name for all to see.

"So you have passed judgment and kicked these guys off the team and you haven't even viewed the video? Really?"

So if no video of the scuffle existed would Bronco have been forced to simply ignore the incident?

Or, would it have been ok with you if Bronco have acted based on the reports from witnesses who watched and/or were involved in the scuffle, including the players?
