It would be wonderful if the words you quoted from Francis Scott Key were recognized as the 3rd verse to the National Anthem. We only sing the first verse at events. Today in celebration of Veteran's Day we sang all three verses in our church congregation. It was a spectacular feeling to sing all three verses. I propose that we learn the third verse of the National Anthem. Copy the words to the 3rd verse from this article and carry them with you so you can memorize them and when opportunity comes you can sing them with conviction. If you are invited to sing the National Anthem you could sing the 3rd verse so others will remember that this is a nation built on worshiping God.
