I remember after having twins and having a 23 month old running around that days turned into weeks and just getting up and doing what I had done the day before. After about a month and after the meals from the ward had stopped, a tender mercy came our way. On a Friday at around 5:00pm I heard a knock on the door. There stood one of our older sisters with a pot of stew, bread, salad and dessert. I hadn't even begun to think of dinner, I was too busy and taxed. It was if she had brought us gold. I have never ever forgotten that Friday night and a sister that listened to the Spirit of the Lord. All she said was, I thought of you today and thought you might need this. I thank the Lord for sisters like this in my ward.
