'Cuse was actually without 4 starters for this game. Kavika Fonua was injured in practice on Tuesday. Syracuse was playing with only one starter in the secondary. Props to Kole Tracy on a stellar performance. It looks like Jordan is not the only team with a super sohpomore at quarterback.
How can you even try to compare the two QB's? The Jordan kid has already started for two seasons and your kid has played in one game. He did a great job, don't get me wrong, but to compare the two, I don't think so. Anyway, we will see how they compare next Friday. Big win for Syracuse and it was nice to see some of the kids that should be going to Clearfield had decent games too. Nice job Falcons.
Don't underestimate Syracuse, they play hard and are tough to run the ball on. Of course Alta put up 450 yards on them, just couldn't hang onto the ball, but Cuse shut down Bingham except for two long pass plays.
I don't expect Syracuse to beat Jordan, the beetdiggers O line is too good, but I don't think it will be a blowout like every other team Jordan has played. Good luck to both teams, and congrats to the Falcon kids who knew the only way to the turf was through Syracuse.
