So which is it "Williamette" or "Willamette"?
Regardless, the Utes shouldn't have any trouble handling the Bearcats.
Then again, we are talking about Utah, so anything's possible. A loss to Willamette, however, would be devasting.
Bottom line. Dr. Hill has assembled such an incredibly weak OOC schedule, that the only meaningful measuring stick the Utes will have to judge "improvement" before conference play begins will be their game at BYU.

Nor should they.
Since no Utah basketball fans seem to care enough to even comment on the game, I'll say it:
Good luck to the Utes tonight.
Yep, you are correct duck. They have a lot of "provin" to do. I'll be there supporting the Utes, and hoping for progress. In the mean time, I assume you will be doing the same tomorrow night (late), in the cold and snow - watching the battle at les. Good luck all!
We'll win by 30+ tonight. Im sticking by my prediction; 16 wins barring major injury. Im a Lrry K believer, and proud of it!
Go Utes! I hope to see some good progress, no matter who we are facing!

Since 10 of those wins would be against the equivalent of high school teams, would that really be much of an improvement over last season's 6-win team?
Just sayin'

You mean HS teams like UT San Antonio, Eastern New Mexico and most of the WCC?
Please give the Utes OOC schedule a rest. Overall, the Utes will have a stronger schedule than the cougs.
Just say'n
@utahcountyute
You mean nationally ranked teams like Baylor, Florida State, St. Mary's, and Gonzaga? BYU also may play Notre Dame.
The Pac-12 may be stronger than the WCC this year, but that doesn't make the Utes schedule stronger.

Evidence? Nothing on utah's schedule would indicate that to be a fact. Please show us how you come to that conclusion?

Utah's OOC schedule is so pathetically weak that the Utes would have to be playing in the ACC or Big East in order to get Utah's overall SOS to be even close to BYU's.
snack
The Utes have (2) preseason top 15 teams that they are scheduled to play 2x in Arizona and UCLA.
byU has none.
btw....The BIG EAST has (2) teams in the top 15 and the ACC (3).
Please get off the Utes schedule.
