Thank you for mentioning the announcers because that was probably the one thing that helped fill the void left by the NHL lockout the most. The new control scheme is really impressive, and you are right about how it is able to capture different player’s abilities much better. I don’t usually play sports games, but I decided to check this one out after a coworker at DISH recommended it as a good way to deal with the lockout. I rented it through my Blockbuster @Home account from DISH, and I have been playing it every day for the past 2 weeks. It really does help fill the void, but I need to return it so I can start getting movies again. I don’t think that there is any chance of having a real season now, so I guess I should just go out and buy this.
