I have to say this will be a great test for Stansbury for the confidence to continue to Rice. Dixie is a great team if they play consistent and that is their downfall. I am sure this game will be a high scoring due to the great playmakers both teams have.
Dixie wins 35-14
I've watched Chase Christiansen on the football field since 5th grade. Dixie better hope the game doesn't go to the wire... and the ball is in Christiansen's hands. This kid has it all... size, skill, mental toughness, and HEART. Huge loss to the Springville community when his dad was hired at Stansbury.
On the other hand...
Barney is a tremendous athlete that has lit up every secondary in the state (or ran past them). I've seen his athleticism first hand and he's a finisher. Best two teams in 3A gonna battle it out... can't wait!!
This is going to be an incredible game. Two great offenses, two great quarterbacks, and two great teams. I do think that Stansbury has the edge on the defensive side of the ball, and that will be the reason that they win. They have allowed less than 10 ppg, and the secondary has been outstanding. Should be close, but I think the Stallions move onto Rice-Eccles.
Please dont use the stats of a weak region play. look at when a decent team showed up what the score was on offense and defense. This is the playoffs and nothing else matters what the season went like . good luck
