You can't trademark colors, only designs, that's why you are seeing so many teams using navy/white colors.
As for the cuts, I liked Chris Quinn. Should the Jazz suffer an injury or lose one of their guards, he is the one I would want to see brought back.
Which means there will probably be no decision on Bell soon. At the least he will be in exile the entire season which will make it very hard for him to get a job next season..
