Then the lesson hasn't been learned. Close all credit card accounts. Only use cash or a debit card. Forget about rebuilding credit - that's how you got into the mess in the first place. Go for a zero on your credit report and make banks do manual underwriting. Credit bureaus do not measure your net worth - just how much you borrow and pay back. As a people we need to question the usefulness of the credit bureaus and the falsehoods they create in needing a credit score.
