That first interception was NOT meaningless. BYU was in scoring position and moving the ball well. Nelson missed a very open receiver there. That was far from meaningless.
Our D-line got worked in the second half and most of the tackles were by the secondary.
The first half play calling was much better, but the second half left me scratching my head several times.
It is hard to win if you don't score in the second half. whether it was play calling, QB'ing, or blocking, the offense just didn't finish, just like every other game where we were playing a decent team.
James Lark should have played. Riley is simply not a passing QB. We need a passing QB at BYU. All Fans should Chant the name James Lark at the next game. This is ridiculous.
