I would think byU fans don't put up with Bronco much longer. When was the last good win byu had?

2009 maybe?

National Champion(as bronco has said is the goal) or BCS bowl teams(See Utah, USC, Alabama) have many quality wins each year. Bronco hasn't had even one this year.

Or last year.

Or the year before that.

LOL. You guys are soooo close to another National Championship!

I hope my Catholic brethren don't show any mercy tomorrow.

Notre Dame 40
byu 9
Riley 3 turnovers 1 TD pass(to Notre Dame)

Utah 27
OSU 21

If I'm wrong on both I'll sing the byu fight song and post it on youtube

Come on! I like my Cougs, but let's be a little more realistic! Mr. Call, please explain how the Cougs are going to do that ... in South Bend ... against the #5 ranked team when they couldn't do so ... in Provo ... against the #10. Good try, though.

When I read statements from BYU such as: "A win against Notre Dame certainly would help make up for squandered opportunities against Utah, Boise State and Oregon State.

"It's cool to play in front of a lot of people and on national television against a good team," said linebacker Brandon Ogletree. "If you can't get up for it, you probably don't have a pulse because that's what we live for. It will be a lot of fun." BYU has played good teams on national TV this year already and what was the result of each of those games stated above? With the current coaching staff and focus, the Cougars will be lucky to get out of South Bend with their helmets in their hands. This ship needs a new direction and the AD either needs ot get this done or sign off himself. Well, we will see you on national TV on Saturday.

@ The Deuce: "With the current coaching staff and focus, the Cougars will be lucky to get out of South Bend with their helmets in their hands. This ship needs a new direction and the AD either needs ot get this done or sign off himself." I couldn't agree with you more. I'm more than ready for changes, as all BYU fans should be if the intent, as the AD & Coaches have consistently said, is to compete against the best and contend for nat'l championships. It's almost laughable to say that, but, indeed, that what's Holmoe, Coach Bronco, et. al. has said. The Cougs should still have their helmets after the game, but this game will be U-G-L-Y. Lark will be playing by the end of the first half and the earliest, middle-2nd half at the lates. The ND defense will ring Riley's bell.

I am happy that the Cougars are so anxious to play in South Bend today. I am not so thrilled with yet another ugly game. One thing that is required to win such a big game is the ability to score at least once while the defense holds the opposition to fewer points than you can score. When it comes down to it, it always comes down to who scores the most points. And for my dear Cougars, I just don't see it. Is the offense suddenly 8 games into the season going to get good? Is the defense going to suddenly be better than one of the best teams in the nation? If the OC suddenly going to call fewer QB draws? Does BYU suddenly learn to execute better offensively? Does the kicker suddenly find the goal posts? Does the QB suddenly learn how to hit his targets? I'm sorry, I just don't see that the ability is there to pull off this miracle. Go Cougars. Leave it all on the field! I wish you well and look forward to next year.

I find it interesting that the defense won't give any credit to OSU for racking up all those yards against them. Maybe, just maybe, they didn't perform as well because they were playing a much better team than they had played to that point. I hope they really believe they are better than the OSU game, and can somehow prove it today. I think it is the only hope we have, to get into a defensive battle, and somehow, perhaps by means of a turnover, we find a way to squeak by them.

It won't happen! BYU isn't capable of beating good teams on their schedule anymore! It's been proven time and time again under Bronco Mendenhall. But it's always fun to speculate, I guess!

It's already happening... Irish are scrambling to find their 'Lucky Charms' and a field goal kicker in the first half.
