I don't think it's a surprise at all. For all the vitriol we spew in these pages, I for one have always believed that both Gov. Romney and President Obama are both excellent fathers and family men, and that's to their credit.
I am glad to see at least two people get that this is just politics, and that talk of hatred of either person demeans the process they are going through. The support and fight for your position is right and just. To demonize, call names, and hate the opponent is greatest teller of immaturity.
If Romney can get it..... why can't those who support him. This is the Romney I respected. It is a great shame the Tea Party types made him abandon this side of him to get the Republican nomination. Had Romney not played the cards the way he did in the primaries, I would have no issues standing up for him.
When all is said an done, the two will go fishing together.
Oh, that means one more debate, they have to see who's going to get the worms.
Whoever wins they are both great people.
