I do not understand why people love this fellow so much.
Ron Paul does NOT endorse Mitt Romney.
He seems to be the only former Presidential Candidate with any integrity.
Great article- I always love to hear Ron Paul speak, but this was one of my favorites. Hearing him is like listening to George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, rather than the typical politician who will say and do anything to get your vote. Ron Paul tells the truth, he has given an enormous service to this country.
Ron Paul is the conservative that Mitt Romney wishes he could be. As an LDS conservative, I believe that Ron Paul's political ideology is the closest to the ideal that we are seeking.
Mitt Romney is a large improvement from Barack Obama, but Ron Paul is a far better improvement from Mitt Romney.
I recommend a reading of D&C 98 and the divine importance of our Constitution, and look at Mitt Romney's (and conservatives in general) record in upholding and defending the Constitution.
LDS members are told through scripture to elect "wise and good" leaders. I believe that Mitt Romney is a good leader; however, I do not believe him wise. Ron Paul is that "wise and good" leader that our country needs.
Thank goodness his movement will continue on for decades after Ron Paul is out of politics. That is the impact this great man has made.
Ron Paul is the conservative that Mitt Romney wishes he could be? I doubt it. If that were the case, then Romney would be a Libertarian rather than a Republican.
Will Libertarianism survive beyond Ron Paul? Sure.
Is Ron Paul wise? His desire to demolish the Fed and reinstall the gold standard would mean applying a largely unproven theory (in the modern world) on the world’s largest economy – and OUR economy.
No other modern economy operates this way. Would it be wise for us to be guinea pigs? I don’t think so.
Ron Paul (and any other candidate that will slash the $16T deficit) is a rock star.
