The election for Utah Governor is in the bag. Why isn't the national unemployment rate this low?
Well, that settles it.
You show Arby's with a "now hiring" sign.
I'd say more Utahns are UNDERemployed, than the national average. I know the jobs around here. Take away the government jobs (with Utahns hate) and there's little money to be made here.
@Reasonable Person
Uh, there's so many things wrong with that statement it's comical. Right now I'm trying to hire for two high-paying positions ($50k+) and you know what? I can't find anybody to fill them. Nobody has the skills. All the applicants we've had are people with degrees to nowhere or no suitable skills.
There are plenty of open jobs in Utah...there's just a massive skills gap. If you're unemployed it's likely because you don't have the skills/education businesses are looking for.
Great news! It looks like President Obama's policies are working after all.

@sir robin
If your unemployed...it's President Obama's fault.
There... all better
Henry,
not in CA where your unemployment rate is still opver 10%, nearly twice Utah's.
Utah's unemployment picture has been better than the rest of the nation's throughout BO's reign of terror despite his misguided policies.

"Great news! It looks like President Obama's policies are working after all."
No, based on the national unemployment rate it looks like Utah is improving in spite of Obama's lack of leadership.
Re: WHAT NOW? Saint George, UT
"No comments regarding the manipulation of data?"
There was no manipulation of data. Utah's unemployment rate is lower than that in other states because of the conservative leadership running our state, and despite the bungling of the man currently in the White House.
