Great!! When a suspect is out on bail his lawyer's strategy is to postpone, postpone, postpone. When the suspect is sitting in jail waiting for his trial things just seem to go a bit quicker. In this case he has lost that advantage.
Did you know John Swallow hasn't even bothered to unfriend Peterson on Facebook? One might wonder whether this prosecution would continue after January.
Just until elections are over and then they will let him out!
What relevance does the suspect's political party have to this story? I think if the media wants to be truly accurate they should at least say "ex-GOP activist". Another example of the liberal media trying to tar the Republican Party? I don't see similar headlines for Democrat suspects and convicts...

"One might wonder whether this prosecution would continue after January."
It is the Democrats who are soft on crime, who make laws they don't want to enforce. It is one of the reasons why they are the minority party here in Utah.
For those less versed in the law it is the prosecutor and not a politician who will pursue this case, and no, this suspect isn't getting off the hook.

what is crime? nine people died in the crandal mine, and no one is in prison for it.
How many car dealers are in prison for communication fraud?
Hey hatch got that record producer off when he got caught with 3 kilos of cocaine, because Orrin fancies himself a singer.
My favorite explanation from Hatch as to why, " He's not a user, it was for others." Dealings OK, using is unforgivable.
Vidar's right too, Murray still had enough left over after his fines to throw a fundraiser for Mitt, who will get rid of more of those bothersome regulations on coal mine OWNERS, worker safety is not as important as Owner security is?
I'm sure the GOP will forgive these misunderstandings after the heat dies down.

Hatch isn't the one on the trial here and the suspect will remain in jail until his trial. This suspect will be convicted if his lawyers can't work out a plea bargain, and Hatch will be re-elected in November.
