This is embarrassing. We need to pass and our kicking is atrocious.

These refs are the worst. Why no calls on the helmet to helmet hits?

You have the current record holder for PAT's at BYU. Sorenson has had two blocked field goals. Those are not his fault, they were BLOCKED!!! The fake field goal... Really Bronco? This is some sad sad coaching. I'm tired of BYU not trusting Sorenson! This is turning into an absolute joke! Come on BYU!

Nice job BYU. Teach those aggies some respect.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is too much to expect from a freshman to come in and run the offense. Hill is a great athlete but does not have the experience to run the playbook so what we're looking at is an abreviated offering.
This is the fault of the coaches poor decision to go with Hill over Lark in Riley's absence.
Not smart.

This is how you flush your ESPN agreement down the toilet. So far, this is sizing up to be a second single digit, nationally televised game. ESPN can't possibly continue to justify this kind of garbage.
Embarrasing? A gross understatement.

Does Ridley realize what he just did? How stupid can you be, coming off the sideline after a first down. If this allows Utah State to score, he had better be running gassers for all of next week.

Oops, trusted the announcers. It was a rookie mistake: so Matt Hadley needs to atone. If USU scores off this, maybe he should lose his scholarship.

Is anyone else sick and tired of people celebrating, jumping up and down and acting like they just won the national championship after every little meaningless anything?
Just do your job, line back up and do it again...until you actually earn a celebration.

Come on Cougs! This offensive showing is pathetic. This is what we want the nation to see on national TV? Let me start the drumbeat now- time to get rid of Doman and you can include Coach Bronco along with him. We clearly saw the "one drive" of the night when they got the ball to Apo and Hoffman. How Doman cannot be more creative is beyond me, and Coach Bronco has way too much confidence in him because he's too busy running his defense. Mark my word, if they play like this they have zero chance of beating Oregon State, Georgia State and Notre Dame.

Stop your whining BYU fans. The defense is absolutely amazing and Hill, against a very good USU defense (11th or so in the country) played very well. Now all BYU has to do is learn how to get the ball into the end zone. They have shown they can move the ball on a good defensive team.

Good job Cougars.

Zzzzzzz, Zzzzzzz, Zzzzzzz - Wake me up when we have a new coaching staff.

So. Cal Reader, I really have no fears about the Cougars losing to Georgia State, since they don't pay them this year. Oregon State is scary, and Notre Dame will be fun to watch just because it's Notre Dame, but nobody expected them to win anyway.

Meanwhile, it appears the SoUtHapa wants a little dignity and not so much enthusiasm from the players. I guess the game might be better if it were more cerebral. Funny thing, though, it seemed to me it was the defensive players jumping around and celebrating, and they won the game for the Cougars.

Open letters to BYU coaches: gentlemen-I admire your work ethic, commitment, and challenges you face. Bronco has THE hardest head coaching job in college football.

I am glad the Cougs won tonight.

Two points: Bronco, with the weight you carry on your shoulders, shouldn't you shift some of the consequences of it to your players? You know, the ones that perform bone headed plays each and every game. Isn't it time for those who commit inexcusable penalties to learn some of the nuisances of the game from the bench for a quarter or so?

Coach Doman: is QB Hill being taught to take on tacklers or does he do it spite of your coaching? I don't know if he got hurt tonight, but you can start warming up Lark because Hill won't make it past OSU with the number and veracity of hits he continues to take.

shocker, they beat a pathetic aggie team....another shocker the OC is just as pathetic as the aggies. why is doman still calling plays and why, why, why, why....i give up.

I'm happy you are sad tonight. I'm happy you wanted USU to win and they didnt. You're probably unhappy that it is conference weekend too. And that too makes me happy.

Your sadness brings me great joy. Thank you so much!

So Cal,
Doman cannot be more creative because he cannot use enough of his own playbook with a freshman in at QB. It is elementary. The entire team knows this. So does the opponent.

As long as this is the case the opposing defense has a narrower focus to prepare for and can continue to tee off on anyone with the ball, including a talented and tough but limited new QB.

"This is how you flush your ESPN agreement down the toilet..."

You obviously didn't watch the game, but millions of college football fans around the country did, and were rewarded for doing so. Good D is fun to watch. The announcers repeatedly pointed out that this was one of the most exciting low scoring games they had ever seen. Similar comments were made by ESPN analysts in the BYU/Boise State game last week. Feel free to continue trolling... but you really should watch this BYU defense play-they are amazing. Go Cougs!
