Is it really that hard to get even a genius visa?.......Doesn't look like it.
Canadian Playboy model Shera Bechard, a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, lives and works in the U.S. under a special visa program reserved for "individuals with extraordinary ability." We know what you're thinking -- her cerebral cortex must be spectacular. But we suspect her INS-wowing capabilities involve feigning sexual interest in an octagenarian who wears his PJs all day.
The revelation comes in an interesting Reuters story about the so-called "genius visas" that are intended for those who have "risen to the very top of the field of endeavor" and have "sustained national or international acclaim."
