Why is the DN posting articles from the Daily Herald, the local Provo Newspaper? Why doesn't DN sportswriters come up with their own stories? The DN has been posting so many of the DH articles, I guess I'll just turning to that source.

And the domination will continue the next two weeks at home. These two teams will not have a faced a defense this good all year. All BYU fans I know are shocked at how good it is and how much media attention they are getting. Keeping Leech, Peterson, and Chow from getting in the endzone is a huge accomplishment.

striker,

USU already faced better defenses in Utah and Wisconsin and will be just fine come Friday. If your defense was so good you wouldn't be sitting at 2-2 and looking at, at least a 5-6 loss season. If your defense is SO talented they should have been able to score against Boise and win that game, don't you think? Utah State has far and away the best offense ybu has faced to this point and Chuckie will light up that very suspect secondary. GO AGGIES........

@sports nutz

byu fans do NOT like when you speak the truth, so please dont do it anymore as they get very offensive when you dont agree that they are the best team in the nation. the reason they arent ranked number 1 is because they always beat themselves and never get beat.

#5 defense in the nation? Yeah, that's what happens when you play the 84th, 96th, and 98th-ranked offenses in the nation, plus a bad D2 team. Face a decent offense (assuming there's one on the schedule) and let's see how good that defense is.

"Face a decent offense... and let's see how good that defense is."

Like we saw at ASU a couple of weeks ago. One thing we know for sure - the supposedly stout defense of the Utes was exposed against the first decent offense they faced. Can't wait to see the destruction that's going to occur in Utah's secondary tonight when Barkley and company torch the Utes.

Really USU faced better defenses in Utah and Wisconsin. And your reason is????? 1st nether is ranked ahead( by stats) of BYU so how do you justify that statement. This is the best secondary that BYU has had in a long long time the corners are very capable to fend for them selves. They might loose on one or two plays but over all they will cut USU off from the pass. KVN, and ogletree will stop the run. I am excited for the game should be very interesting. BYU's defense will be okay the question is will the offense sputter out of the gate. Bronco needs to play his best players and desire to win the game we will see if he is able to motivate his players to want to win the game GO COUGARS.

PS Your reasoning is what happens when you drink your bath water. HA HA HA HA

Let me help you understand. The Des News did not reprint an article from the Daily Herald. It was written and annotated by the DN writer, Bullock. It is merely a link to the Herald article that showed up by the search engine. The Daily Herald article is really quite well written and you should enjoy it and not gripe about the source. But seeing the quality of your sentence structure and misspelled words, literacy is not your strong suit.
