As the nanniest of the nanny groups, it's not surprising that the parents' television council has made these findings. They want everything watered down so that an 8 year old can sit in front of the tv around the clock. Here's an idea..instead of parents council why not rely on parents' counsel? I'm not interested in being offended on behalf of your kid if you let them watch what I'm watching.
So, the parents are relying on someone else to determine what is appropriate for their children to watch instead of personally making sure their children are watching appropriate shows?
Sounds more like a failure of the parents than anything else.
