The real key to saving is finding a mechanic that can correctly diagnose the problem. When I take my car into a dealer and also to a local mechanic and they tell me it could be this or that, I am alot concerned. Then, after $2000 in repairs and the problem is still there, I wonder after two mechanics can't seem to find the problem. Then, they tell me it could be something else. It's not just me who has this problem. I don't have a problem paying for the repair, just please fix it.
