Replacement QB, replacement RB and soon to be replaced punter...and 3 last second chances for TSDS...but the UTES still win 3rd straight!!

Coug fans need to be relieved that Chris B can still post for the balance of 2012!!!

Utah is not good this year, but better than at least one school in the state...

See ya in 2015 Cougies...it's been fun!! On to bigger targets now!

We play BYU next year at LES, and then not again until 2016. But next year they will have even more big holes to fill than us. So maybe a fourth straight victory with two in a row at LES??

Patchwork indeed! we did it with our hands tied behind our backs and we still Own Our " Band of Little Brothers"

Like BYU's commercial that says " Every Day is Game day!" for the next 365.25 days.

@Indy Crimson.

Soon to be replaced punter? Sellwood is an awesome punter. Bad snaps hurt him at USU and BYU. Against USU, Sellwood had 6 punts over 50 yards. The blocked punt was not his fault. Tonight the punt would have been blocked, and Sellwood ran with it.

Utah's special teams problems are at long snapper, but mostly at blocking protection schemes. Oh yeah and the ever unreliable Coleman Petersen.

Sellwood is awesome but that punt formation with the extra wide splits has go to go.

The best solution for fixing the punting game is fix the O-line and punt less! Utah is in serious trouble if these guys don't get it together pass blocking is coming around but the play book gets cut in half if you can not effectively run (Not taking away from BYUs D because thay are decent) In the past Utah has owned the 4th quarter because the ability of the O-line to ramit down the throat of the opponent. Utah is in a prime position for a run at the PAC 12 South if they can figure out the running game. If not it will be a long year!!

NOPE!

We'll see ya at LES in 2013!

It's laughable how desperately our little friends on the hill want to put BYU in their rear-view mirror and pretend that the rivalry game doesn't mean anything to them anymore, when in reality, BYU is still THE BIGGEST game on Utah's schedule. Sorry Utesies, but rushing the field THREE times in one game PROVES that there's NOBODY Utah fans would rather beat, and there's ABSOLUTELY NOBODY Utah fans would HATE to lose to MORE than BYU.

As proof? Despite Utah's biggest win in school history coming against the Crimson Tide, when was the last time a Utah fan visited an Alabama blog. Even a win over USC would simply be seen as a stepping stone IF the Utes somehow managed to seal the deal with a conference championship - highly unlikely.

Any Utah fan who claims that the Utes won't miss playing BYU in 2014 and 2015 is simply blowing smoke.
