Can we now all agree that Nelson is not a D-1 QB? I'm not referring in anyway to his character or his decided grittiness. Please just tell me that no one can watch him play against any decent team and conclude that he is an a decent QB, let alone a great one.
I was right. Nice interception Riley. Sit on the bench. Bronco pls bring in Lark or Hill.
That last post was entered BEFORE the INT! If Bronco has any integrity and common sense, he will pull Nelson.
Nelson? Or Brandon Doman? Domnan needs to learn how to confuse a defense. If I can call the play, then certainly the Utah defense knows what's coming.
This is ridiculous. Its like they have never played football before. BYU always always always alwways always always self destructs. ALWAYS
Unbelievable
Can we now finally stop all the Jake Heaps hate? Riley is no better!
Clearly, the Y's offensive line is likely the weakest link on the team. Nelson has been harassed, not only in this game, but in the first two against decidedly weaker opponents.
Frankly, the Utes come better prepared to play.
get riley out of the game. he is not a quarterback
Thanks Nelson fans!
Bronco:
Utah may be the better team, but at least act like winning is more important than your relationship with Riley!
Does anyone think Riley is a quarterback?
byu,
It's all over for this year. Keep the faith. Maybe next year will be the Quest for Perfection.
Goodnight and good luck.
Very truly yours,
Uncle Otis

How did I do Chris??
This situation with bronco and Riley seriously seems suspicious
Go Utes!
This team unfortunately is getting totally out coached, just as it has in the past and how it will in the future. Bronco has been successful at BYU but only against weak competition. There is no reason to have the number of false starts they have. It's a joke and points to the coaching and QB play. BYU is going to have some problems in many of its upcoming games with this type of play.
I have said since last year, Riley will kill us against good teams. BYU fans you wanted him live with it.
wer and CoachRay:
I don't dispute that Doman is a poor OC and the line is subpar, but how can you not blame 90% of this on Riley? It's a joke.
Bronco's stubbornness in not pulling him is laughable.
Holy cow, do those Ute fans hate BYU. I grew up out of state and elsewhere, you have rivalries. Here, you have a rivalry on one side and a visceral hatred of the "Team Down South" on the other. Seriously, who boos every score of your rival that loudly?
Utah obviously is far more motivated and fired up by this game.
For a D1 quarterback, Riley Nelson can't throw a decent spiral.
Is anyone actually at the game? I'm trying to figure out why Riley Nelson is ignoring Ross Apo (#1 wide receiver). It seems like Nelson is relying too much on Hoffman and Larsen. He's too predictable. The few times I've seen Ross down the field, he seems like he's open. Apo has not gotten any love since Jake Heaps left. He was actually effective when he was thrown passes last year. Mendenhall has to figure out the offense.
And the funny thing is you ran Heaps off for this guy. Not hard to predict the next 3 games.
