Finally a decision that makes sense from the UHSAA.
Hopefully this creates a new standard. The game should have been finished the night of the game at Highland, or on Saturday at East or at the very latest on Labor Day Monday at East.
At this point I honestly don't see when there would be a good time to finish the game. The best scenario I could come up with would be for Jordan to ask Copper Hills and East ask Clearfield if they would play on Thursday instead of Friday, then have East ask Cyprus if they would play on Saturday instead of Friday. Then set the game between East and Jordan for Monday, Sept 24th. That would give both teams enough time between games to recover and prepare. Other than that...the only other time I could think of would be the Friday of UEA week.
In the end...the easiest thing to do would be to count the game as an East win and a Jordan loss and keep all stats.
Who cares its a pre-season game.
