Comments about ‘Ann Romney, Michelle Obama call 'mom' defining role’

How about we acknowledge that both Ms Romney and Ms Obama are fine, upstanding, admirable women.
Either of which would make a Great First Lady.

There is nothing to disparage in either of them. Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't even try?

The First Lady is an excellent role for mothers, especially mothers who are combining being "mom" with a fulfilling career. She and the President have done a wonderful job so far raising their daughters. Kudos to the "Chief Mom" and the President for what they have accomplished with their children. Wonderful role models for family values can clearly be found in the White House. Good for them.

how old are michelle's and barry's kids? it may be a little early to spike the ball for either of these moms.

No need to take shots at Michelle Obama, I think her and Anne Romney are great examples of mothers and wives.

It may be a little too partisan for you to criticize a person's parenting skills by the lives of their children. Both women value their roles as mothers and try their best. That is enough.
