There is no civility in politics anymore (maybe ever). Everything every politician or political commentator says or writes is viewed by every other politician or political commentator as suspect. And, perhaps, rightfully so. I am so sick of having forwarded to me all the chain emails about one candidate or another, and how horrible that candidate is for something said or done. And all the talk shows and editorials. And the movies. And the advertisements are the worst. What has happened to us? Will it ever change? What is the answer? I am disheartened.
President Bush was never given enough credit for keeping us safe from terrorist attacks. ALmost everyone thought that other attacks would certainly follow after the 9/11 tragedy.
