How on earth is what I said "evidence" that Y fans are delusional? Mistaking you for a U fan is quite understandable, as the comment you made (which implies that BYU could not make the list of teams that could beat Utah this year) sounds an awful lot like a comment Chris B would make.

By the way, we never elevated the status of Oregon State simply because BYU played them, and WSU was only hyped because of Leach. And I never considered Georgia Tech a "patsy".

And it doesn't surprise me that you guys down there don't mention BYU much; I think most attention is regional. Neither BYU or Utah are elite at the moment, so they aren't mentioned much back East. Kind of like Virginia Tech and other similar teams are hardly mentioned in the West. Exceptions are when the team is playing another team, like GaTech.

It's WAY to early to be talking about a potential "perfect season." There are still several challenging games ahead, and the odds of winning out are very slim.

To put it in perspective, the Cougars have had 27 chances to duplicate their undefeated season since 1984. And they haven't done it once.

the Utes lost to Notre Dame in their only meeting,
and the Utes barely edged Georgia Tech on a neutral field,
but I fully expect our little brothers on the hill to try to spin how superior Utah's mediocre PAC road opponents are (to BYU's four toughest road opponents), because, well, they're in the "conference of champions" so, um, even 10-loss teams are superior to every other team on the planet.

Why is a Utah troll so embarrassed to be associated with the Utes that he has to pretend to be a BYU fan?

There's no honor in defending a program that is so out of control that it's been found guilty of seven major NCAA rules violations during the same era that they were winning those national championships - makes you wonder just how deserving they really were of those championships.

How deserving was BYU in 1984? They played nobody all year.
Does any BYU fan ever wonder about that? Sooner or later they will make a crystal trophy bobblehead doll just for BYU fans. Because that's as close as they will ever get to having one again!
