It's great to see an article pointing out the attributes of someone like Riley Nelson as seen by his teammates--especially after their stunning performance against Washington State. He is an excellent example of commitment and commeraderry. I hope this is a great year for him and his teammates.
Riley Nelson brings a lot to the table with his "street fighter" attitude, and winning mentality. Weber will be a nice warm-up to the game on the 15th with another Pac-12 elite, 40 miles to the north. MUSS better bring their "A" game on that day.
I love Riley Nelson... and I am not his teammate... He will probably get hurt, because he is insane. He said that all of the times he takes on a DB it is calculated. I saw him lower his helmet into two linebackers against Washington St. I'm sorry Riley but you can't do that against Georgia Tech, Boise, Utah and Notre Dame. They will hurt you.
Please calculate more carefully in the future.
Go Cougars and Godspeed!
I love Nelson's fire and toughness, but he needs to play smarter. He makes dumb decisions that could not only cost his team the game, but the entire season if he gets injured (like he has the last two seasons). Nelson would have had 3-4 interceptions last Thursday against a better defense, and the few yards he managed to gain running were not worth the vicious hits he took that could have easily resulted in him being out the rest of the season. At least Taysom Hill looked fantastic taking his first snaps as a college QB. We may end up needing him before the season is over.
This kind of story again? I like the idea of the story, but do the research and make it worthwhile. Why is the DNews insisting on linking stories to fan sites with little credibility? Bleacher Report?

Riley is a true sportsman from the word go! He plays with strength and integrity unlike some of the teams that are more concerned with causing wicked injuries that put a player out for the entire season. There needs to be suspensions and huge fines for players that intentionally injure another team's players.
The B/R article was great, really laid out some good points about the game. But Mr. Bullock, next time say that you got the info from the author of the article, not Bleacher Report. B/R doesn't have the best reputation w/ some people.
