Love to hear it. Utah is the top all around program in the south division, classy players, coaches, and second only in talent to trouble ridden USC.
Love to hear it, Chris B? Utah is the top all-around program in the south division? Let's see how the Utes do on the football field against USC :)
Come on Chris, I love your optimism, but USC is a very good team. Utah will have to play an almost perfect game to beat them. Hopefully they come in extremely cocky, arrogant and full of themselves like Bama did at the Sugar Bowl. And Utah catches them off guard. But I don't think that will be the case. Utah's defense will probably be the best they see all year or at least to the point they play the Utes.
I'm very excited for that game but am more concentrating on a much improved Utah state and BYU, not to mention ASU on the road. In the mean time...GO UTES!!
A much improved byu and utah state team? Really? BYU won by 24 points at home to a team with a new coach, a QB that hasn't played for almost a year, and a team who only won 4 games last year...and you think they are much improved? Not sure about that one.
Either way, I think Chris B comments are baseless. We haven't arrived yet, and we shouldn't act like we have. I'd rather have the mentality that we have something to prove, even as fans, and not think we're better than everyone else. Utah St. will be a challenge, so let's focus on them.
Go Utes!
I like the Alamo prediction. But, we first need to get by a much improved Utah State this Friday.
Part of me wonders if it won't be like BYU's win over Utah State last year, with a last minute drive to pull ahead and win. I hope we have a bigger win than that--I think Utah's defense will be up to the challenge of slowing down Chuckie and company. The question is whether Jordan and the Wolfman can score enough points, because I don't see a shut out this week. I see perhaps 21 points scored by Utah State.
