I can really appreciate what the author is saying in this article and I agree fully. I am the mother of two sets of twins. With the first set we were finishing school and did not live by family that could offer much help. My husband was finishing school and working, and the twins came as a surprise. We only knew there were twins a few days before they were born. I was so exhausted, I do not remember most of the first few months of my children's lives.

With the second set, several years later, we had family close that could offer a needed break to take a nap, etc. It made all of the difference in the world. Take people up on their offers to help if you need it. It can make recovery so much easier. I honestly think the people offering help enjoy holding the little one(s) too. I know now as a grandmother, I do.
