It does seem like BYU's defense adapted well, WSU first drive looked scary but after the interception BYU's defense seemed to do much better for the rest of the game. Although the two long WSU passes called back for holding did help.
I would have to say #1 would be that Maxie was on the sidelines.
I sure hope he comes up to RES for a nice welcome back:) I might be sick that day though.
