That the complainer is anonymous tells the whole story. If it were truly about safety the complainer would be willing to put his name by it. It is about noise, plain and simple. Somebody moved in and then found out that the hospital flies out to save someone once a day and that flight disturbed their nap or tv time. This is why they don't want to come forward with their name.

Brigham City's helipad is smack dab in the middle of a residential area. Noisy? Yep. Worth the noise for the lives saved? No question.

So sorry to hear one complainer can stop such a valuable service from being as quick and efficient as possible. I would guess they'll complain again when it takes a half hour extra to get there when their family member needs transport.

Expanding the helipad is the only solution left in Vernal. Intermountain Hospital in Murray has three helicopters capacity helipads. The complaining neighbor should put more soundproofing insulation on his house.
