The Mormon movement was, itself, a deliberate "land grab", taking advantage of homesteading laws (supported by the upstate NY political party - the Free Soil Party), and using those consecrated assets to capitalize the Kirtland (anti)Banking scam in lieu of silver or gold.

A Scientist: What a ridiculous comparison to make-that the effort of the Church to find land for its 10k+ members when it was forced to re-locate by "taking advantage of..laws" to the lawless efforts by the citizens of Missouri who forced the Mormons from their homes in order to take advantage of a potentially beneficial law.

I can't figure what "Science" teaches that perverted logic?
