Clubs, bars, pubs have no place in a neighborhood. There are enough drunks, mentally disturbed people, druggies and other low lives walking around the neighborhoods as is. Smashing car windows, burglaries, vandalism....The police according to our fearless chief are unable and do not have the resources to questions illegals, but, they seem to have time to ticket idling cars and respond to more disturbances in the neighborhoods if the bars are allowed?

How is an intoxicated person "normal" Mr. Becker? If that is "normal", is that really the best approach for the city?

Keep the bars in the business areas. I would be willing to see nice restaurants in the neighborhoods that also sell alcohol. But, I do not need a social club, a pub and additional drunks wandering the neighborhood. The police are unable to keep up with the number of low lives in the city as is. Why invite and encourage more of the same?

I wonder if barack will allow EBT/SNAP aka Welfare food stamps to be used at these pubs? Nancy Pelosi said that is the fastest way to make the economy recover.

Just another dumbocrat idea...
