Who? I've already forgotten about them.
Several analysts have said the utes are one of the most likely to reach bcs game. If Wynn stays healthy I like our chances as well as any team in the country. We have already proven to be a national power and proven on the field we can beat the best the SEC has to offer. I think as long as our Friday devotionals are strong we will be smelling roses, after a close home win over Trojans.
With tebow I mean Riley I can't imagine why byu isn't getting serious national attention. Probably a conspiracy.
"Several analysts have said the utes are one of the most likely to reach bcs game."
Name one!
"We have already proven to be a national power and proven on the field we can beat the best the SEC has to offer."
We've also proven we can be beaten the worst the PAC 12 and MWC have to offer.
Christy B -- There was an article on Des-news within the last week or so that pegged Utah as being a team picked for possibly making it to a BCS bowl game. Many experts give Utah a chance of beating USC as well. Sorry this all tortures you so much.
Christy B --- The article title is: Utah Utes roundup: Do Utes have BCS bowl potential?
The article came out on August 8th here on deseretnews.com....The article is from si.com (Sports Illustrated.com) Sorry to say but Chris B was right. :)

Being pegged as a "possible" bcs team is not even close to being "one of the most likely to reach bcs game".
or have you forgotten that the Utes have to beat #1-ranked USC first?
It's funny how Utah fans whine every time BYU fans even mention setting a goal of winning another national championship, yet here you are pretending that beating #1-ranked USC is little more than a stepping stone for the Utes.
Christy B -- It's funny how BYU is always coming out with these "quest for perfection shirts"
Utah has had 2 Perfect seasons in the last 8 years! The Utes nearly beat USC in Cali last year -- It can be done..
Just because it can be done does not mean it is very likely. Not only would you need to beat USC to win the south you would need to beat Oregon/Stanford in the championship game. I peg your chances of that at about 5%.

"It's funny how BYU is always coming out with these "quest for perfection shirts"
The whiny Utah fan hyperbole is laughable.
BYU printed "Quest" shirts before exactly ONE season. After back-to-back 11-2, undefeated MWC, Top 15 seasons, setting a goal of going undefeated was not at all an unrealistic goal or quest.
Utah has had two undefeated seasons in the last 8 years, but Utah has also suffered TWO losses to 10-loss teams in the last 5 years, as many as BYU has had during it's entire history.
btw,
BOTH BYU(4-8) 2003 and Utah(8-5) 2011 trailed the Trojans at USC by three points with four minutes left in the game.
The difference:
In 2003, USC was playing for a national championship, which they eventually won.
In 2011, USC was playing for absolutely nothing.
In 2012, USC will once again be playing for a national championship, and this time, the Trojans won't make the mistake of overlooking the new kids on the block.
I am picking Utes to upset USC and give USC its only loss.
BYU fans, talk to us when your school is at Utes' level...right now, go and get on
forum for San Jose State football.
Wow, this is a laugh riot. Utah has absolutely no shot at reaching a BCS game people. Im sorry to be the one that has to bring this to your attention. But you have a mediocre Qb who is made of glass, and when he is injured in your 3rd game, the same offense that suffered a loss to Colorado last year will re-surface. You will be lucky to go 4-5 in the PAC-12 this year. October 4th will be an embarrassing day for you.
