This is a great article, Cathy Free, and I hope it does line pooches up with smooches from new owners. It is sad that pets are taken to a shelter for silly reasona. Recently our much loved cat, Rascal, who came with a condo our son bought on 7th East, seven year ago, died. She was a wonderful pet, and I didn't intend to bring another cat in right away, but the next day a man we know persuaded our granddaughter that two kitten left behind in his yard, should go home with her. With my reluctant permission, we have two half-grown kitties that upset our surviving older cat, and our granddaughter can't take them home to MD. We didn't need them, but they are entertaining, and we think they will be great mouse deterers. Our other cat has become less annoyed.
